Greenpeace Helps Corporations Destroy the Planet

March 28, 2016 at 11:10 pm

Greenpeace and Sierra Club are doing more harm than good by co-opting grassroots environmental movements and giving destructive, polluting industries their “green” stamp of approval

[wp_ad_camp_1]

greenpeace+detox+challenge“Greenwashing” is an attempt by corporations to cover up environmentally harmful practices by marketing products as “green” or “eco-friendly.’ While saavy consumers are catching on that corporations still care more about the green in our pockets than the greenery of the earth, many of them would be surprised to learn that some of the world’s most prominent environmentalist organizations have green “blood” on their hands too.

A short video called “Green is the Color of Money” – a clip from the larger documentary End Civ – accuses Greenpeace, Sierra Club and other non-governmental environmental organizations of not only not doing their job, but of conspiring with corporations who want their “green” stamp of approval:

“Get a Job”?? No. Get a Life

March 23, 2016 at 5:26 pm

cavedweller_1129~2To all the people who are criticizing Daniel Suelo – The Man who Quit Money – for “mooching off others” or “still being dependent on the system” – You’re cowards! You just want to find fault with what he’s doing to justify your own cowardice, your own slavery, your own dependence on the system.

He has spent the vast majority of his nights in caves or camping under the stars for the last 15 years… that he’s stayed in communes or been invited into the homes of strangers on his travels is irrelevant. If he’d been born into a world where hunting and gathering were an option, as it was for 2 million years before agriculture dominated the earth, he wouldn’t NEED to be dependent on the “scraps of the system.”

The Man Without Money

March 21, 2016 at 8:14 pm

The Story of an American Man Who’s Lived without Money or Government Assistance for 15 Years

Daniel-SueloIn 2000, Daniel Suelo gave away all his worldly possessions, left his last $30 in a phone booth and wandered into the wilderness of the American Southwest. This, he says, is when his life began.

The author of his biography, Mark Sundeen, had known Suelo for 20 years before he walked away from money and civilization. At first, he thought Suelo had lost his mind.

British Mining Company Wants to Destroy Sacred Apache Land

tonto_national_forest_arizona_cc_imgNative Americans are celebrating and calling President Obama a “hero” after he blocked the sale of Apache ancestral land to a British mining company, at least temporarily, by re-designating it a historic place. However, the designation does not guarantee the land won’t be sold in the future.

Congress unwittingly approved the sale, when Republican Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake secretly added a provision allowing it to the National Defense Authorization Act, just before it passed in December of 2014.

An indigenous Amazonian tribe in Peru seized a grounded military helicopter and kidnapped eight public officials last Sunday, after two recent oil spills on their ancestral land.

The “Wampis” are holding the officials hostage until the government agrees to clean up their polluted land and rivers.

Hostages include three employees of Petroperu (the state-owned energy company responsible for the spills) four officials with the OEFA (Peru’s version of the American EPA) and one official from the Energy and Mines Ministry.

Is GMO Corn Causing the “Leaky Gut” Epidemic?

March 10, 2016 at 1:08 am

Leaky-Gut-Symptoms-and-EffectsIt has been estimated that nearly 80 percent of the U.S. population has some degree of leaky gut syndrome – a condition where holes in our intestines let food particles and toxins into our blood stream. The medical-industrial complex does not recognize it as a legitimate condition, but alternative healthcare practitioners claim “leaky gut” is the main culprit behind food allergies, auto-immune disorders (like lupus), eczema, multiple sclerosis, and even diabetes and cancer.

Author of Seeds of Deception Jeffrey Smith explains how Monsanto’s Bt corn – which is in the vast majority of processed foods and animal products in America – is literally ripping our guts apart:

How to Make Your Own Charcoal

March 9, 2016 at 4:58 pm

Here’s that awesome Primitive Technology man again showing us how to make charcoal from scratch (wood). He uses sharp rocks to chop the wood into small pieces, puts them in a pile, covers it with leaves and kindling, covers the mound with mud, and then burns the wood under it until it becomes charcoal:

Basket Weaving in the Wild

March 9, 2016 at 4:37 pm

Here’s that “crazy” Primitive Technology man making more stuff from scratch in the wild. First he shows us how to weave baskets using nothing but his hands, palm leaves and lawyer cane, and then makes a stone hatchet with nothing but rocks, sticks and his hands. Pretty impressive.
